FAQs on pricing
Why don't you produce shorter books?
We don't believe it's possible to get to know a person well enough to write a memoir in fewer than six hours of interview. Short, slim volumes also make disappointing books.
Do you make longer books?
If you know upfront that you would like to produce a longer book, we will provide a bespoke price based on your requirements.
What happens if I decide I want a create a longer book after we get started?
If you decide at any point you would like to lengthen your book, we can agree additional hours of interview, each providing a further 2,000 words (approximately one chapter).
What happens if you don't gather enough material for a 12,000-word book in the interviews?
If required, we will interview for longer to ensure we reach the minimum word length. However, in our experience, six hours of interview often result in a book of greater length than 12,000 – we won’t cut your memories down to fit into a word count.
